I. Keep forging ahead, insist on scientific and technological innovation and explore new tracks
In 2021, the Company continued to increase investment in R&D and introduce high-level R&D talents, with the ratio of R&D investment to operating revenue reaching 10% and the ratio of R&D personnel to total company headcount exceeding 40%. At the same time, the Company accelerated the pace of conversion of R&D results, and improved sales scale and profitability through a series of AI new product development reserves, forming a situation where traditional business segments and new track business segments advance in tandem.
Steady improvement of technology strength and continuous acquisition of qualification awards
With CMMI Level 5 certification, Maxvision has become one of the few companies in China with the highest level of CMMI certification. The Company’s software organization maturity capability, software product quality management and quality assurance standards have reached a new level. Once again, the Company has been one of the top 100 enterprises in Shenzhen in terms of software business revenue.
Maxvision Technology won the second prize of Guangdong Province Science and Technology Progress Award for the key technology research and development and industrialization of smart port inspection and prevention control system. Health declaration verification system, multi-functional radar speed meter and pandemic prevention robot products won the 19th Shenzhen Enterprise Innovation Record.
At the 6th National Civil Aviation “Internet+” Smart Airport Construction and Development Summit, Maxvision was awarded the honorary title of “Excellent Solution Provider of Smart Airport” and the smart airport solution was evaluated as “Excellent Solution” by the organizing committee experts.
A series of AI+ industry smart algorithms and products were applied
The Company strategically, with the help of its constantly developing marketing network, has advanced its layout, expanded its innovative products in related industries horizontally, developed a series of AI algorithms and smart products to meet market demand with a market-oriented approach, and steadfastly followed the path of technological innovation.
In 2021, the Company’s New Technology Research Institute successively launched Maxvision Cloud AI open platform, Maxvision Cloud video analysis platform, innovative multi-modal biometric terminal, palm vein recognition terminal, iris recognition terminal and other biometric terminal products, AI video analysis box and AI vision terminal carrying side-end algorithm operation, which can carry nearly 100 kinds of algorithms for urban management, smart transportation and other industries to realize various smart applications. At the same time, the Company started Maxvision AI data volcano plan, model Ruban plan and product incubation plan, so as to come out of its own AI industrialization road.
Increase investment in R&D and launch Maxvision robot family series
We continued to invest in the R&D of robot product lines, set foot in the vertical business field market, and strive to expand cross-industry and cross-field scenario applications. Through the in-depth integration of artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, 5G and other new technology applications, specialized in implementing business needs, Maxvision Technology has launched a variety of specialized, precise and special business field robot series products this year, gradually improving the Maxvision robot family series products.
In the future, Maxvision will follow the guidelines of the 14th Five-Year Plan for the Development of Robotics Industry, and contribute to making China a source of global robotics technology innovation, a concentration of high-end manufacturing and a new high ground for integrated applications.
Set up overseas division of smart port, layout overseas market
In 2021, Maxvision set up the overseas division of smart ports and marched forward to the broad overseas market. As an important ecological partner of Huawei’s “smart Port”, we have jointly built 5G smart port joint solutions, customs smart chokepoint joint solutions and other benchmark solutions and structures for overseas customs smart ports and other scenarios, and successfully applied them in some Middle East countries.
Strong alliance to achieve resource sharing and complementary advantages
Maxvision Technology and Huawei continued to cooperate deeply to achieve complementary advantages. Setting foot in domestic market and expecting to expand overseas ones, they co-created a new mode of cooperation and development, to lead the trend with the power of technology. It is expected to provide more and more efficient joint solutions for customers at home and abroad in the fields of ports, customs, airports, parks and transportation.
Maxvision Technology was selected as “Huawei Industry Master Set Partner”?and won the “Excellent Customs Industry Outstanding Contribution Award” at Huawei China Eco Conference 2021.
Maxvision Technology became a strategic investor in the capital increase project of Aerospace IOT, and signed the Capital Increase Agreement of Aerospace IOT with all parties concerned. Uphold the original intention, fulfill social responsibility and practice corporate mission

Under the normalization of the pandemic, Maxvision innovates and develops a series of anti-pandemic products to build the security of the nation.
In order to improve the standard of prevention and control under the normalization of pandemic, Maxvision Technology has responded positively and assisted relevant departments to implement precise policies and technology to fight against pandemic, and innovated and developed remote intelligent flow transfer system, new generation of “intelligent customs clearance and quarantine”, pandemic prevention robot, intelligent test tube distribution terminal, positive pressure mobile verification table, negative pressure mobile isolation chamber, mini transfer vehicle and other equipment and systems.It’s fully committed to building a firm port quarantine defense line, weaving a firm prevention and control network, realizing the closed-loop management of the whole chain from the “national gate” to the “home door”, further building the security of the nation and contributing Maxvision power to the pandemic prevention and control of inbound personnel, vehicles and luggage.
Maxvision Technology made donations to Shenzhen High School Heyuan Experimental School
In June 2021, Maxvision donated to Shenzhen High School Heyuan Experimental School to purchase books to enrich the children’s entertainment and learning life, further alleviate the current situation of the shortage of library resources in the new school, to meet the reading needs of students.

In this year, Maxvision’s multi-dimensional integrated smart port solutions have been successfully applied to major national projects and sea, land and air ports, including Chengdu Tianfu, Jinan Yaowang, Qingdao Jiaodong, Haikou Meilan and other air ports, Nantong Lvsi seaport, Mochan railroad port, etc., helping to upgrade the national technology, establish a safe, efficient, intelligent and friendly customs clearance environment, establish a good image of the nation and at the same time effectively improve the ability of “external input defense”, so as to vigorously protect the lives of the people, escort passengers’ travel, and further strengthen the leading brand position of Maxvision’s smart port construction.
During the year, the company continued to deepen its strategic cooperation with Huawei in the field of smart transportation, and the two sides jointly participated in the construction of smart traffic police projects in 31 provinces and cities in China, making a major breakthrough, while ITS overseas launched a joint solution to achieve license plate recognition and illegal forensics such as red light running and illegal parking in many countries, solving the off-site law enforcement capabilities of different countries and providing technical support for urban traffic management and three-dimensional security prevention and control.
During the year, Maxvision’s video analytics platform provided visual algorithm support for the property city operation platforms of many sub-districts in Shenzhen such as Futian, Longhua and Baoan, and deployed more than 20 kinds of urban management algorithms involving urban villages, commercial streets, neighborhoods, industrial parks, schools and other scenarios, which improved the efficiency of street governance by more than 90% and reduced the cost of human inspection by 70%.
