On November 9, the official website of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) announced the ranking of the latest Ongoing Face Recognition Vendor Test (FRVT). Up to now, nearly a hundred companies and research institutions around the world have participated in this test, including VisionLabs (RUS), Ever AI (US), Kakao (KR), NEC (JPN), Idemia (FRA), Cloudwalk, SenseTime, Megvii, Hikvision, Dahua, Tencent, etc., a total of 381 algorithms participated in the test this time. Maxvision has achieved an excellent score of FNIR(1600000, 0, 1) = 0.0017 in the key indicator - Visa-Border (entry-exit photos compared to visa photos) test set project. This score ranks third among Chinese manufacturers and enters the world's most ranks of excellent face algorithm manufacturers.

NIST-FRVT is a recognized authoritative competition in the field of face recognition technology. The competition is open to the world, and the participating teams submit the algorithm version within the specified time. NIST conducts a confidential test on all participating face algorithms every four months and publishes the results and updated rankings on the NIST official website. NIST-FRVT conducts tens of billions of comparisons of different types of photo samples, and the evaluation of face recognition algorithms can reach one-millionth accuracy. It is the world's largest face recognition algorithm competition with the strictest standards and the most intense competition.

Over the years, Maxvision has accumulated rich experience in face recognition from various complex scenes such as seaports, dry ports, and airports. These experiences have led the company to formulate optimization algorithm strategies from various dimensions and scenarios such as illumination, clarity, posture, age, expression, clothing, makeup, and race from the perspective of practical application in face recognition. Maxvision's algorithm can perform stably and powerfully in various complex face recognition scenarios, such as face recognition of people wearing masks and coal miners.

Maxvision has been committed to the research of 'AI + industry' innovative technologies and strives to meet the needs of different application scenarios in the market. At present, Maxvision has applied the face algorithm to multiple industries and products such as ports, airports, parks, and urban management. In the future, Maxvision will continue to give full play to its algorithm advantages, adhere to the implementation of AI innovation-driven technology to accelerate the integration of artificial intelligence and industry scenarios, continuously expand the new space for the development of the artificial intelligence industry, and help customers innovate and make breakthroughs in the era of intelligence.
