On November 27, 2020, the 17th?China - ASSAN Expo and the China - ASEAN Business & Investment Summit were held in Nanning. On the 17th?China - ASSAN Expo, the People’s Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region held an introduction meeting for The New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor. Qian Xueming, vice chairman of the CPPCC of the autonomous region and chairman of the committee of China Democratic National Construction Association in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and?Huang Wenchuan,?deputy director of the Development and Reform Commission of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region attended the introduction meeting themed “Constructing new land and coastal passages?together,?sharing new development opportunities”. The introduction meeting was held online and offline, mainly introducing key projects including the products on the regular trains, ships and trucks on the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor, Beibu Gulf International Gateway Port and new passages
The New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor is a key link promoting the international cooperation along “The Belt and Road” and an important bridge deepening the opening up and cooperation between China and ASSAN as well. Its construction is significant for the new pattern of “domestic and international circulations” and the new pattern of the West China Development Strategy in the new era.
