Located between Maoshengwei, Gongbei, Zhuhai and Xibei District, Macao, Zhuhai-Macao Cross-Border Industrial Zone covers an area of 0.4 km2 including about 0.29km2 in Zhuhai and about 0.11 km2 in Macao. The part in Zhuhai and the part in Macao are connected by a special port channels.
Since the 15th anniversary of Macao’s return to China, Zhuhai-Macao Cross-Border Industrial Zone began to realize 24-hour customs clearance through a special port. The expansion project of the special port had short construction period expected and urgent tasks. In consideration of our professional informatization in ports’ customs clearance and strength, the People’s Government of Zhuhai invited us to design and construct the informatization project of the port. The total port informatization solution designed by us is an important part of the total port informatization solution.
The project consists essentially of customs clearance inspection facilities and information systems for border inspection authority, customs and entry-exit inspection and quarantine bureaus, including a passenger automated inspection system (the sixth generation), a multifunctional identity document inspection counter, a councilor counter, a temperature detection system, X-ray luggage machines, a monitoring and storage system, a integrated wiring system, signs, marks, etc. Furthermore, in consideration of the development prospects of the land, it is extensible, advanced and prospective.
