At?the beginning of 2021, Shenzhen Scientific and Technical Rewarding Meeting was held today in Shenzhen Auditorium to commend winners of the 2020 Shenzhen Science and Technology Award. Wang Weizhong, the secretary of the municipal Party committee of Shenzhen, Chen Rugui, the mayor and secretary of Party Leadership Group of Shenzhen and some other municipal Party committee and government leaders attended the meeting and present awards to the winner representatives. After multiple reviews, our ¡°smart port inspection, prevention and control system key?technology development and industrialization project¡±?gained the second place of the Shenzhen Technical Progress Award.

Shenzhen Science and Technology Award was set by Shenzhen Municipal People¡¯s Government to encourage the scientific and technological innovation of enterprises and public institutions and speed up the scientific and technical progress and our country¡¯s innovative urban construction. As an important part of Shenzhen Science and Technology Award, Shenzhen Technical Progress Award is granted to organizations or individuals with outstanding contribution in promoting advanced scientific and technical achievements or?accomplishing significant scientific and technical projects, plans, projects and so on. In 2020, it was granted to 44 technical development projects, 10 public welfare projects and 1 major engineering projects.?

Our ¡°smart port inspection, prevention and control system key technical development and industrialization project¡± gaining the award this time is an important achievement of our company in the smart port field. Based on technical principles such as acoustic wave principle, convolutional neural network model, image synthesis and?analysis algorithm, intelligent image recognition?and multispectral image analysis, it has made innovations for overall intelligent inspection technology, intelligent prevention and control technology and intelligent quarantine inspection technology under complicated port environments and solved massive technical problems such as face recognition, empty container detection, passenger-object associated inspections, anti-tailgating inspection, accurate passenger intercepting,?luggage risk intercepting and person and vehicle health self-service declaration verification in complicated environments. Its technical achievements have been successfully used in large ports of the country, such as Beijing Daxing International Airport, Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, Hengqin Port, Nansha Port and Liantang Port, making port management much more intelligentized and intelligent, ensuring better passenger experience and making an outstanding contribution to high security and good image of these ports. In June 2020, it passed the scientific and technological achievement assessment by an institution authorized by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People¡¯s Republic of China. According to the expert team,?it is technically advanced in China?as?a whole and, particularly, its video anti-tailgating detection technology and container detection technology for ports are internationally advanced. The fact that this product won the Shenzhen Technical Progress Award is a high recognition for our great contribution to the technical achievement transformation of projects.?

In 2021?which is the first year of the 14th?Five-year Plan period of our country, smart port construction will be an important content of the period. As a pioneer and constructor in the smart port field, we will make more R&D investments to new-generation information technologies such as AI technologies and big data?technologies to contribute to China¡¯s smart port scientific and technical progress and smart society construction through more advanced products and service modes and quicker response speed.?
